Steve is one of the UK's most knowledgeable and accomplished cyber leaders, with over 22 years of experience spanning the full spectrum of cyber — from mainstream cyber security through to cyber warfare and offensive cyber. Steve began his career serving the governments of Canada and the United Kingdom, culminating in his appointment as Technical Director for Cyber at GCHQ, where he led a £125m per year national cyber development programme reporting to the National Security Council and the Prime Minister. He subsequently held executive Vice President roles at L3 Technologies, leading strategy and technology across a portfolio of national security-focused businesses, including personally leading the acquisition and integration of a $230m cyber security company. Steve is the founder and CEO of Nova Blue Technologies, bringing world-class cyber expertise and executive leadership to clients across financial services, defence, aerospace, and private equity.

Les Wong is an experienced cyber security leader with 25 years of experience helping organizations of all sizes assess and manage cyber risks. He advised the highest levels of the Canadian government on national cyber security issues, including the Prime Minister and Cabinet, and served as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of TELUS, a leading national network operator. Les has developed and led cyber security programs for organizations of all sizes, including for small, medium, and large enterprises served by TELUS’s 24/7 national Security Operations Centre, as well as Canada’s national signals intelligence and cyber security agency, the Communications Security Establishment.

David Collins OBE
David Collins OBE
CTO

Dave is an 18-year veteran of the UK Royal Air Force. During his military career he was at the forefront of the development of cyber as a domain of military operations, including time working in the Ministry of Defence, GCHQ and commanding the Royal Air Force’s cyber defence wing in support of operations around the world. He was awarded the OBE in the King’s Birthday Honours List 2024 for services to the cyber defence of the Royal Air Force and Ministry of Defence.

What it means
The highest level of Cyber Essentials certification, independently verified through technical assessment including vulnerability scanning and MFA testing. Certified via Blockmark — verifiable on the Blockmark registry. We hold the same certification we help clients achieve.
CISSP
What it means
Certified Information Systems Security Professional — the gold standard ISC² professional certification. CISSP holders must demonstrate broad, deep knowledge across eight security domains and maintain continuing professional education to keep the credential active.
CISM
What it means
Certified Information Systems Security Manager — ISACA professional certification focusing on security management and governance. Complements CISSP with a management and leadership focus appropriate for strategic security roles.
G-Cloud 14
What it means
Approved supplier on Crown Commercial Service G-Cloud 14 framework. Government and public sector organisations can procure Nova Blue services directly through the G-Cloud framework — simplifying procurement and removing the need for individual tender processes.
Crown Commercial Service
What it means
CCS is the UK government's procurement body. Nova Blue's listing on the CCS supplier database confirms our eligibility to supply services to government and public sector organisations under framework agreements.
Up to DV Clearance
What it means
Personnel cleared to Developed Vetting (DV) level — the highest level of UK government security clearance. DV clearance enables engagement with clients and environments handling the most sensitive government information.
